does the tracking work that well ? I am doing 70.3 next year and full ironman in 2015 and would be quite nice if my wife can track me on the bike ?

Hi All I need some help on which one i should buy. The Felt is currently being sold for around R17k at bike shops and have Ultegra front and rear derailers. The Argon is being sold for around R21k and has Shimano 105's on it. Which one will be the better buy in the long run ? I do all the 5150's and will be doing 70.3 in Jan and plan is to do full Ironman in 2015. I weigh around 80kg's and i am about 6 foot 2 to 3 (not sure actually lol).

I don't think this sprint series is going to happen. Any more news on this ?

Tip: Make sure you have fun! Most competitors are not racing to win but for the enjoyment and the trophy

Tip: Before entering this race, make sure you are able to complete the individual discipline distances on their own. E.g. swim 2 km's, mtb for 70 km's and run for 18 km's.

Tip: People are most scared of the swim. There are lots of open water swim events that happen all year round. The distances at these swim events also vary from 600 metres to 10 km's. Enter some of these events to get used to swimming in open water and build up the distance.

When you race, put the goggle strap under your cap. like the pros do. This will prevent someone kicking off your goggles.

Tip: Pack a towel in to your bag to lay your gear out on in the transition zone, this way you can clearly find your bike and gear and grass/dirt does not go everywhere.

Tip: Make a triathlon gear checklist When you pack your gear for the race, use the list, this way you wont forget anything especially with the event happening at the Vaal Dam.

Not sure of all the details in this matter but this is why protecting your cycle/event races name by means of a trade mark is important, this is what i specialize in.

I would like to know further details about this sprint tri series, tired of people bashing TSA and not doing anything about it. I for one don't like TSA, Cycling Sa etc. but would like an answer to the topic

Hi Guys I want to buy some new pedals for my road bike. I also use my road bike for triathlons. Any suggestions ? Or any pedals i should stay away from ? Not sure if i should go for Shimano or Look and which model?

i cant believe guys dont ride this route in the mornings. The Engen ride is so dangerous with all the traffic and skipping red lights.

im keen to leave Broadacres at like 5 and get back to Broadacres at like 7ish. Doesnt sound like alot of guys ride except for a lot of fast guys. Anyone riding the cradle during the week and have more info?

Hi Guys Is there any other rides apart from the Engen on Main ride in the mornings ? I know some guys ride to the Cradle ? How fast is it (compared to Engen ride)? How far ? What time does it start and get back ? Where does it start from ? Is it safe ?
