  1. Found on Bloemenhill this morning. Message me here if its yours.👍
  2. Pyga Tig is R84,999 for a full GX build and decent fork https://beta.pygaindustries.com/product/tig-trail-downcountry/ The Trek Fuel EX 7 (gen 6) looks like its got a mix match of Shimano components. EDIT: The BikeYoke dropper on the Pyga is also very nice.
  3. Thanks - agree with all the above. I too am on a Hyrax and my question is more out of curiosity. Clearly some overlap between the Hyrax and Tig. Love my Hyrax though.
  4. For trail riding how does one decide between the Hyrax and Tig?
  5. Anyone here tried running a mullet setup on the Hyrax?
  6. Thanks for the info on the flex at 160mm - that makes sense. I'll leave the limiter in the rear (140mm). I'll either go 150mm on the front with an air spring swap or change to a new fork if I go 160mm. Or just leave the front at 140 😀
  7. OK - did some investigation/measurements. Looks like the shock has a travel limiter installed. So it's limited to 140mm travel. So as it stands I've got 140/140.
  8. Thank you will post a pic soon 😀 I'm still a little surprised that I may have 160mm rear travel (Slackline) on this thing. If thats definitely the case I'll be putting the Pike fork up to its max travel - 160mm.
  9. bought here on the forum the other day 😀
  10. It's got a Pike fork at 140mm travel. Looking at swapping out the air shaft to 150/160mm.

  12. Thanks - I have the 205X65(TR) Super Deluxe Ultimate on my Hymax. Is it the linkage setup that makes the difference in rear travel between the two bikes?
  13. Do the Hyrax and Slackline share the exact same frame?
  14. Thats great advice and also my current thinking - thanks 👍
  15. @Steady Spin Now that you are more familiar with the bike. Any parts you would recommend swapping out from the get go? Just thinking while parts are new upgrading to something else may still be cost effective.
  16. Thanks - I don't know much on the subject. Wouldn't a 150mm sticking out less be better?
  17. I just did - will let you know 👍
  18. awesome thank you. I'm the same height and also bought a large. Cycle lab want to order me the Lyn 150mm - may have to change that then. Is your dropper lever installed on the right side?
  19. @Steady Spinwhat dropper did you go for and what size? Bought the same bike and want to do the same.
