  1. Stan's Stan's Stan's!
  2. Glad they are ok! I hope they get that B.....D and F... him up good! People like that doesn't deserve a licence
  3. O and carbon bars are good, but not always as light. And one more thing, If you have a hard crash, they might splinter, or damage without you noticing. breaking later on, that's from experience. But don't make a mistake, carbon is excellent, I have a carbon MTB frame and you cant go better! So weigh up the goods, and the bad's of both, and look at what your driving style is, that determens what you are looking for.
  4. For lightness Look at Truvativ Look at KCNC 2 Best buys for your money. just go on the sites and snoop around to find the suitable model.
  5. A good wheel set will make you go faster. If it is lighter it brings down the weight of your bike, and considering that it is rolling weight it reduces the strain even more, less pedaling faster....
  6. Well, it works, I ride this way at the moment. Using Rocket Rons, front and back. The tyre's are non UST so they are extremely light weight, and this specific Tyre has exceptional grip!!! Using Stan's Tyre sealant! If you do convert it like this, ride a week with the slime on tarmac and then the slime forms like a inner tube and punctures are a thing of the past, watch out for Big thorns though! They have lo0w rolling resistance, very good grip, and a great lightweight feel.
  7. Thanks! So overall it seems to be a good wheelset?
  8. any weaknesses?
  9. I am about 75kg, what would you recommend tire pressure front and back. Using Rocket Ron's? A bit of a rough rider sometimes. Wheels are insured, if something would happen to them. Got it for a bargain so couldn't say no.
  10. HI, I bought myself a set of ZTR Crests! Will be using it as a XC Wheels in races and for training. Any comments or suggestion's on how they will perform and if I should expect a weakness of any kind? Thanks Hubbers!
  11. My lady at 11kg, without my ZTR Race wheels.
  12. Thanks, so judging on what I have read from the comments, I will be better of with ZTR Crest 26", combined with A2Z hubs and DT-swiss spokes.
  13. 26" ZTR rims build with A2Z hubs, 6 bolt. DT Swiss spokes. Witch rims would suit me best? Between 70-80kg. 1.79m tall, and doing XC riding. Want to use the wheels for racing and occasional training. Choice between the Podium MMX (ZTR top of the range), ZTR Crest or Alpine. Want a light, yet strong wheel-set. Any comments on what to choose will be appreciated, also any tips and suggestions. I can get all 3 wheel-sets for 5k so money wont make a difference. Thanks!
  14. The person rode it max for 3 months. Fell once but the frame has no vissible marks or scratches or enything or chips...
  15. Hi, thinking of buying a second hand Volcan XC Pro hard trail frame. In very good condition is it worth it, or is carbon frames a problem?
