About two years ago I was selling my MTB. I got a call from a chap in cape town I think. Stating he wants the bike and I should send him more pics. I sent the pics and then confirmed that I would courier it at the buyers expense. The buyer then replied and said his mate is going to phone me, because he is buying the bike. Then I got a text to say il be contacted on Monday. By then I was like whatever dude. Story started sounding a little dodge. I then decided to sell the bike to a guy in middelburg, who got straight into his car and came and collected the bike. I let the guy from the Cape know that I wasn't proceeding with the deal and that I decided to sell to somebody else. So both him and his mate gave me a negative rating on the hub about the same deal. I'm not to worried about the rating as cash is king, and their deal was just not worth the time, the other buyer didn't have any issues. If I had to do it over I would do the same thing. Call me dodgy or what ever you want, but I myself have bought many things of the hub. If it is what I want I pay immediately. Don't come with stories and please send 700 pictures and then say somebody else will phone.

My father was an optical dispenser, the company is still running and they can cut any lens.

If you stand infron of the counters where you collect your race pack at the right you will see there is a counter for stickers and the one sign says double team where they give you a green sticker that goes over your number

There was a girl in A8 on a single speed, saw her a number of times through the ride. She didn't even look tired. Hats off to her.

Started A8 and managed 3:57. I'm hoping if I could finish this I can finish the road race next weekend.

I have been given an entry by another rider for the 70k. What do I do in this instance. I would need to go registration tommorow to collect the seeding sticker. Do I ask them for a number board for the rider or do I ask them to tranfer it to my name. Not really sure what to do.

ok just contacted the race office, the wrong cut off times are posted on the website, they will post the correct one's by the morning.

this is my first road race and i got a SS and my start time is 09:56. will be a miracle if i can reach the first water point before cut off @ 10:35.

The highlight for me would have to be that big drop off. Single track was awesome. Glad I was on a DS as I think an HT would have been murder on my behind.

I have recentley had my frame replaced by Miway and my excess was R400-00. There weren't any issues from Miway's side. Although I had issues from Cycle Lab which the bike was sent to to be assessed. It has left a rather bitter taste towards cycle lab and not Miway.
