  1. Hi Chaps, need some assistance I bought a Polar CS300 to log my training on vitality. I currentley use a garmin edge 500. Now on the instruction of the Polar it states that the watch has to be mounted. I thought I would still be able to wear the watch while riding. I don't want to take the Garmin off as I am happy with it. But I'm hoping that I don't have to mount the Polar on the bars, as I recon that would just look stupid having two computers on the bars. Anybody wearing their's on their arm while cycling and does it work.
  2. I recently switched to cleats and went the egg beater route with spez shoes. Took some getting use to. Fell twice and now loving it
  3. I need to rent a bike box so I can fly my bike down to Plet. I'm aware that ASG have this option available from certain bike shops. Do any of you know other dealers that offer differnt boxes. Just want to compare prices.

  9. Guys Please give me some input and your opinion. i am in the process of buying a new bike. i kinda had my mind made up. on the Merida One-Twenty 1500D, but had a look at FPC today and saw a Specialized in my price region. now as far as i can see it is not as well specked as the Merida. Merida runs Full XT where as the Specialized is a bit of a mix and match. 1) Merida One-Twenty 1500D Link to Merida http://www.merida-bikes.com/en_za/bike/2011/13/MTB+Full+Suspension/ONE-TWENTY+1500-D 2) Specialized Camber Comp Link to the Specialized site http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCProduct.jsp?spid=52769&scid=1000&scname=Mountain I should probley just stick to my original plan and go for the Merida any input will be appreciated, or any other bike ideas

Hi Guys Looking for some information please. I will be in the drakensberg close to the end of may. Now one of my goals while im down there is to do the Sani pass. Now on this subject i will be doing this alone as none of the people i know can take leave in that period. The question i have is. would you recomend doing it alone, i have contacted the border post and they do not have a problem letting me go through alone ( well that was according to the lady at the border post which asked if my MTB was licensed ) And do you have any tips or info that i might find helpfull? Question 2 what other places are there to ride. very eager Thanks
  25. Thanks for the info guys
