  1. Are these bearings as good as they say? Check out these clips:
  2. Hi Ronelle, I'm in Skelmbos, so a coffee chat sounds great! Obviously you've figured it?
  3. I?ve been using WK0+ for a while, but still can?t figure out the PMC. How must the the 3 curves (TSB, ATL and CTL) be interpreted? Yes, I?ve been through the Power 101 tutorial on their website, but still don?t get it (I?m a cyclist remember, not a Rocket Scientist ). 1. It seems that the TSB is always the opposite of the ATL. But this does not make sense. Isn?t the TSB suppose to tell me when I?m moving into the ?over-training zone?? The way I understand it, ATL is my shorter term (7-day) training load, so how come TSB is always the opposite of ATL? 2. If CTL (which I understand to be my longer term training load) tends up for a while, does it mean I?m moving into an ?over-training zone?? 3. What then are the indicators for over-training? When CTL tends upward? When ATL goes down (and TSB goes up)? 4. What must the 3 curves look like if I want to peak for say the Argus and be rested enough (i.e. not in an ?over-training zone?) at the right time for the event? 5. If TSB is an indicator for peak performance, must it necessarily be positive to indicate that I?m peaking at the right time? Or must it just tends upward?
  4. Can one of the Power Guru's (Bruce, BikeMax, ...) tell me what the Pw:HR and Pa:HR in the new WKO+ means? Some rides these percentages are big, some small and some even negative - so how do I interpret them?
  5. BikeMax, I have the same problem with CP. I did a 5,5 hr ride on Monday, but the total time in CP is over 12 hrs? I always download to both PowerAgent and CyclingPeaks, and I've realised everytime there are a lot of "files" to merge for a single ride in PowerAgent, that the time in CyclingPeaks is much longer than the actual ride time. If all the "files" for the ride are merged in PowerAgent, the actual ride duration is correct in PowerAgent (5:30 in this case). Maybe there is (or should be) some "merging" function available in CyclingPeaks which will eliminate the much longer time indicated in brackets?
  6. "Better" is actually just trying to be funny. And more expensive does not necessarily equate to better. So, something with more or less same specs ito weight, drag, stifness! Must say, I kind of like the Bonties which Bruce posted - so I'll go investigate their specs.
  7. The back is dimpled (1 yr old) and the front not (about 2 yrs old). I had a lot of problems with the back wheel hub ito sideways movement. Sent it in for repairs twice. Everytime the bearings were replaced. Last time was about for weeks ago and it solved the problem till the DC. Unfortunately, it is now out of warrantee, and a new hub will cost me R3000. So, now I'm gatvol with it and want to get something else.
  8. I consider replacing my 303s. Don't want Zipps again, so what do I get which is similar to the 303s - just better?
  9. Ek oorweeg om Saterdag terug te ry, so ek kan vir jou 'n lift gee na ek klaar is - waarskynlik dubbel die tyd wat jy gaan ry - en opgepak het. Jy kan my PM as jy nie anders regkom nie.
