Package delivered to my house yesterday, all in order Besides having to phone a few times to remind them to send me the import invoice etc, the rest was ok, all in all a week from the Uk

Got my invoice just after 8am, paid and sent documents Got email confirming its being released for delivery now paid around R1100 duties for a R5300 order.

Update on this. They confirmed their cod office has a 48 hour turn around time to process invoices for import tax payments. So let's see if they keep to that

Ye I had to call them earlier on now to remind them to send my invoice , I have yet to recieve it or a call to confirm details. It's amazing everything up till it reaching us in Sa has been smooth, soon as it touches our shores absolute disaster it seems. Waiting patiently here for that mail, pitty the DHL route not viable from merlin anymore unless you book collection via DHL at merlin and go that route but don't know how that process would work. I will look into it cause the reviews of ups are horrific reading it now

Got the email this morning saying its in sa and they are trying to make contact with the importer, this was at 1am this morning. So I'm sure they will reach out this morning to confirm the id and email details for payment otherwise will give them a shout.

Will find out when i pay the taxes and add the totals vs locally, Was a set of brakes, 2 x tyres for my hardtail and new seat, random things, but wanted to try it out, so i know for next time when i need a fork and groupset that it all works out and knowing the process from payment to paying taxes to my door.

I have ordered a few things from them, basically same as Shein, similar website layout, not sure if they are like sister companies, Alot of their MTB gear i see takealot sells aswell now, and i have seen some of their ODI grips being sold along with gloves on the forum here SO yes their site does work and the products are decent quality depending what you are buying offcourse, Clothing items if you are a L, go for XL as some clothing items do fit, but some might be too small, so i have gone a size above what i normally buy just to take into account shrinkage when washed, i bought some riding pants and they have been fantastic quality at a very good price. My orders have arrived within 10 or less days thus far via Buffalo couriers whom then utilise local carriers like Intertown transport or the Courier guy here in the garden route area. Overall everything i have ordered i have used and no complaints.

I found a good buy on a 2019 Trek Roscoe 8 that i picked up for a steal, even though its an older year model, the bike has blown me away with what it delivers from a hardtail Just did some trail riding today with some fun downhill through the forest, and the bike was a blast, Only upgrades i have on it is shorter stem and new high rise bars, otherwise completely stock pretty much. I am no fundi when it comes to bikes, but for a Hardtail and pricing hard to beat a Roscoe when i compare what the equivalent Marlins specs are and price range. And i have seen a few floating around here within your price range budget But sure you will be able to find something suitable on here with input from other more knowledgeful memebers Good luck
