  2. I see no one is going to answer you…………….so since it is at VG and it’s not the ladies TLB race, expect technical up and down hills, district / jeep roads, lekker single track along the river, a tunnel or two under the road and through the reeds, maybe a water crossing or floating bridge, a few disgraceful dismounts and the promise to come back and do it all again:)There are so many routes to choose from, who knows what Erick has lines up for us.
  3. I use to experience similar effects especially after a hard race. One possible reason for this is simply that the body is busy cleaning up the damage to the muscles and hard work that you have put it through and this is one of the side effects – similar effects happen when you diet or detox ( when the body cleans out the toxins you may experience shivering, flu like symptoms, general body / bone aches headaches) As long as your Dr is happy and cannot find any physical reason – I suggest you find a good coach or training program that will help you to vary the intensity and frequency of your training. This may help you to resist the need to race the roadies on an active recovery ride and take rest days when required
  4. When faced with three visible arrows showing different directions, and you ask the Marshall which direction and he shows you which one to take..... yes there will be no arguing. What interests me is the fact that most of the riders that took the wrong route or were mis-directed by marshals were in the A & B batch. In my opinion ( i was not riding, but an observer from the finish line) there WAS a fault with the marking & marshaling and Fritz and his team quickly sorted it out, that is why there in very few DQ's after the C batch.Pity the fornt riders in the 70km & 40km did not have a good race because of this!
  5. yes..... the one handed wheelie while racing the horses...... i don't think so! Some of the crashes looked authentic, and i loved the nutrition & supplements in the final race - bananas & coke :)I am guessing the movie was to boring for SABC3 to watch through, as they forgot the small 2-3 seconds of boob flashes from the hippie chick! Age restriction was 13L and i was watching it with my 15 year old son!!
