    I did the comparison last year - the premium I saved with pedalcare made up for the difference in excess already. . . . . and fortunately no accidents yet (hee-ha)

    The quote from Pedalcare on R20k was R118.00 - also including racing and training.

    When I obtained quotes from both Cyclesure and Pedalcare, their excesses were both 10% of the claim with a minimum of R500 (Pedalcare) and R250 (Cyclesure). Could this be the 100%? higher excess. Cyclesure had an additional excess for wheels as well.
