  1. Very nice story, thanks. This morning during my ride I was actually wondering when will be the day when I stop cycling. After a bad crash? When my body can't do it anymore? When I cannot finance it anymore? When I get too scared of the risks? So, I decided not to think about it and just enjoy the ride as I always do. It is one of the few pleasures I still enjoy in life.
  2. It's the hanger that broke. You might be able to get a replacement. It can't be fixed, unfortunately.
  3. Is there access via the Main road entrance to the prison opposite Prison Break?
  4. The only issue I've ever had with a derailleur was because an incorrect B-screw setting. But in my case was only the hanger that broke.
  5. That sounds like horrible crash. I'm glad you're on your way to recovery.
  6. Very nice. I wish I could buy it and bugger-off somewhere far away with my bike. Good luck with the sale!
  7. Have had this issue since you got the bike or only recently? I have a 2013 Silverback Slade 2 and recently I've been also experiencing a shudder on the rear brake but not all the time. I have Shimano SLX (about 2 years old) with the original Deore rotors. Pads are Jagwire (3 months old), which in the past never gave a problem. The hub is original cup and cone Deore which I think it could be the problem due to age.
  8. I'd rather look in the classifieds for a more reputable brand. Those bikes tend to be heavy and the components not very durable and/or reliable. It may take you some time to look in the classifieds and check the bikes out but I think you'll get at least a lighter and better frame.
  9. Thank you, guys, I let some oil out from the lever and it worked.
  10. Shimano SLX about 2 years old. So my question is more about from where should I let some oil out as suggested.
  11. I did but maybe wasn't enough. Yes, I also fit the new ones at the back and there's no issues there. The old back ones went to the front. So, should I try and bleed from the caliper or the lever?
