you dont need any tool to put the crank on - just tighten the star shaped thing in the crank with a tyre lever (its not supposed to be that tight anyway). then you tighten the bolts with an allen key

might also be worhtwhile testing your IR connection with you cellphone - just to make sure the IR port on your pc is working

Roof racks plus bike carriers are probably cheaper in the short term, but towbar mounted carriers are definitely less hassle, use less fuel, and dont have the same risks with regards to low trees, wires, gates etc I started with a roof carrier on my golf, but I cant park under anything which can be a pain... there is also the option of those hatchback-mounted carriers...they are ok, but just make sure you fasten them correctly to the car or you can ding the rear door...

i cant understand it either - have been out on my mtb many weekday mornings (5-15ish), only to be passed by sullen groups of roadies on their weekly training rides...whats with that? Is there a special instruction these guys get that they shouldnt greet other cyclists?

agree with that point ! - have tried many types and get very different results it depends on your body and what works when you ride. you normally have to try and try again until you find the optimal mix

JHB parks have also been made aware of this so they are looking into it
