There is currently a weekly night ride at Jonkershoek that TheCrow first advertised here on the hub, and any hubbers who want to join are welcome to come along. We meet at the gate at 6pm (though this can be changed) on Thursdays. The route and the pace are variable and dependant on the participants, but we try to do a loop including parts of the singletrack up and down. Alright, back to the topic..... I'm wondering how you got Ibis to make you a non-carbon frame. How'd you get that right ?

I think it's the usual problem with jockeys. too short. TheCrow, umm, .....misplaced...., my jockey wheel in a puddle somewhere miles and miles and miles away from civilization. I put it back together with spares.

actually it's 238 (1") 251 (1.5") and 257 (2") depending on the amount of rise/bend. I'm getting it off the website, I actually know less than nothing (except that it's made out of something half decent for a change)

Night tider, You should have a look around at the model & hobby shops, or else online at places like http://thunderpowerrc.com/ (eg. the ProLight series) That will give you an idea of both battery and charger/balancer prices. Light manufacturers will normally charge a premium on batteries that can be sourced elsewhere.

good stuff BL What's your view on riding Spot vs wide beams in general? From these beamshots the Wide and Medium look brighter, but I'm sure if you moved the fence back we'd see the spot's penetration?
