  1. I am great fan of the No flats tyre sealant and their J2KL product range. J2KL Rims strips and valves work extremely well and I have never had any problems with this product. I can say that No Flats is an awesome maintenance free sealant as I never have to top up or worry about the sealant as it never balls or drys up. Have a look at their website or email them, they are always extremely helpful and will usually answer any emails within 24hrs, www.noflats.co.za / info@noflats.co.za HAPPY CYCLING IN 2012
  2. A sealant that I know works in tubbies is No Flats have a look on their website they have a video of a demo being done on a tubbie, this stuff is awesome I use it in my tubbies. The website is www.noflats.co.za
  3. This all sounds like such a mission. I did not have nearly as much trouble with my J2KL rims strips with loose valves. I had them installed and my tyre inflated without sealant in under 15 min.and the Mrs was happy that they didn't cost a fortune. P.S J2KL come in 26er and 29er
  4. I recently had the new J2KL rubber rim strips and valves installed on my and my sons bikes by Cajees Strubens Valley. And I have to say that I am impressed, I had the misfortune of breaking a spoke on a ride shortly after the installation and thought that I would have to open my wallet again to purchase another strip (the last plastic set I had couldn't be reused when I removed them to fix a similar problem)removing the valve then the strip was done with very little hassle and nothing other than a screwdriver (the valve comes separately which is great)when I re installed the J2KL strips I was amazed at how well the strip seated on my rim this meant that I didn't have to use rim tape BONUS. All in all a brilliant product and thanks to the guys at Cajees for recommending it.
  5. I ride MTB over the 2 years I have been tube & Tubeless no problems. The comment was a general one so no specifics. if this answer does not satisfy you tough takkie. Glad you will be using No Flats, look forward to hearing your thoughts but I know they will be good.
  6. I so agree with your post. But would just like to add. I have been using No Flats for two years and I know it to seal a lot of holes. But I doubt it can seal an arsehole. So boys don't drink it it would just be a waste of a good product.
  7. Check out their site for a list of dealers it has been recently updated. Or send them an email if there is not a shop in your area
  8. I am wanting to find out if anyone knows of a Bicycle shop in Vryburg
  9. You don't need to top up with No Flats which is great if you are a weight weanie as the weight remains constant
  10. quote name='Nic0000' timestamp='1302786141' post='1388216'] Oh I've heard of this stuff. Apparently it doesnt contain latex or ammonia (Dont quote me on this I just remember reading it some where...) both of which actually void the warrenty on Maxxis tyres. For the guys who say they use bombs and dont have an issue this may be because the sealnt still dries where the rim meets tire as per normal but if you experienced a burp or the likes, you may find yourself having a diff oppion! Has anyone tried the no flats? And what are prices like cos Zero Flats, Stan's, Joe's are pretty dam expensive aswell! Check www.noflats.co.za I have been using No Flats for about 2 years now and this product is amazing. Last weekend I changed the tyres on my sons bike and after 2 years the product was still in its original state. I was surprised at the number of apparent punctures it had sealed. I would like to add that this bike lived outside the product had lined the entire inner structure of the tyre which means that the sidewalls were protected. I live on a farm and punctures were a huge problem but not anymore. I have used a bomb on my tyre once to see if it would affect the product and it didn't seem to. I bought another bottle for my sons bike at my local cajees for under R100 which I think is affordable cause it does both tyres
  11. Thanks Johan for the great explanation
  12. You guys should all try No Flats ( I see they are advertsing here now)they also say non corrosive ect check out there website www.noflats.co.za it has a lot of info. I just feel that Joes and Stans have a hold on the market when there are better products with more advantages like No Flats out there. I love it won't use anything else
  13. Wont comment about FPC but if you want excellent service then visit OB at Epic Sports in Doringkloof Mall in centurion, which is just down the road. They are extremely helpful and friendly. My son (14) bought his bike from OB and he was told the pro's and cons's of each bike and was not taken advantage which just doesnt happen any more. Hope this helps you and you are right good service and honesty are rare these days.
