  1. Sheesh this is good news for someone moving down to Kloof at the end of the month! Anyone got some ride/trail info around Waterfall area?
  2. Although stretching is def the key to balanced supple muscles. The tightness on one side can be a side effect of an imbalance in your muscles.maybe in your back... Had this issue when I was younger, the right side of my back was better developed than the left which cause a small scolliosis (spell). This resulted in less flexability in my right hip and often back spasms as well. With some guidance from the physio and a good variation of excersises, as well as loads of stretching, the problem was sorted... Agreed on the benefits of yoga! Always hotties and good for core and stress too!
  3. Okay I check cable setup, its connected correct, even compared to my other bike. No play in cassette either. I think the housing length is fine but I have the problem while the bike is on the bench so no sus movement.
  4. Okay so can't access the pdf from my bb just incase the answer lies within... I'm having a shifting issue of my own. Just built a new dual susser. Put new gear cables and had to add 2 links to my chain length. Iv tweaked here and there but I still get a short shift round 8 + 9 and an over shift round 1 + 2. I've checked the hanger and that's straight. Nothing wrong derailer or shifters. Anyone got some guidance please!
  5. So I'll be joining you guys in the afternoon ride as well. Just built myself a dual susser but think I will steal my Lady's wheel (Non tubless) and ride on slicks... As disgusting as that sounds, but if you gona cross over to the tar, may aswell go all in! Who's got a source for uber cheap slicks?
  6. Any one have experience in getting the shafts out of the lower pivot? I've removed the bolts but can't push the shafts out to seperate the rear and front triangles...
  7. Hey Guys Im looking to re locate back to Durban from Jozi at the end of the year. Just finished my Aritcles at Ernst & Young and although I havent completed my CA(SA) yet, I have sterling feedback from managers and am more than competent! Im looking for something in the Financial/General Management area and am pretty open minded to any opportunities! PM me if you know of anything! Shot a lot
  8. Ha ha so I see this is a universal problem! And here I thought it was only the instrustors at my gym that were bat-sh&t crazy! For me the worst is... Start at an intensity of 6/10 and then they procede to say "half a turn up" about 15 times! After 3 minutes you at about 180% intensity!!!! It sometimes gets so bad that I sneak out of work early, just so I can avoid some prick wit an IQ of 12 screaming at me for 50 minutes!

  10. Bought a bib the other day, Only got hit with the VAT, no Customs. SAPO arent allowed to open parcels anymore to check contence so this make the hit rate a little lower. In my experience, If you do get hit Customs the items ends up being what it would cost if bought here in RSA.
  11. Okay so maybe I should know this... But what you mean registering?
  12. You may wana try BBT Rim Strips. They done by the guys who do Ghost bikes. You can check them out on fb. Its a plantic strip that snaps into place so you don't have the reseating issues like with the rubber ones. But to be honest, I did every conversion under the sun and I reckon I totalled all the cash I spent on that nonsense I could have bought an entire UST wheelset. Best thing to do is not bugger around. Invest and ride with out having to worry about conversion failures!
  13. I think where brand loyalty comes in is that its pretty hard to tell a good frame from an average one, esp when it comes to carbon frames. So what do you do? Buy the name you know I guess. I ride a Wheeler which aint that popular in RSA. The frame is super stiff and she goes really well but there was no guarantee of that when I bought it. I guess you gotta ask yourself, how much must you save to counter the risk of a brand you don't know?
  14. Umm I think its the one just off that side road on jansmuts. Overlooks the spruit.
  15. Okay awesome. Ja I don't think its gona be summery but I'm also hoping it'l be a bit warmer...
