  3. i need to replace my BB - 2007 Cervelo RS. How can I see if I need to order an Italian or English tread BB. Did a search, but nothing found. I now know how to referb a BB
  4. The 1 km they refer to is the 1km once you turn off 5km at the Lion park. 5km has 2 sections @ 7%. The lion park 1km is 12% for a long time. Could not even sit and ride it out. Went home once I got to the top, that was without doing Longbarn and then there is still Maitlands Is cycling only for the pros?
  5. What do you think about the new Herald route? Don't they want the week end warriors to participate anymore? Sea View road is open, can we get the old rout back?
  6. Does anybody have a proper day by day "Winter - Base - Training" program?
  7. Decided about 8 months to buy a set of Easton EA90 SLX's. That was after a lot of reading and searching for the "best" all round wheels. These wheels would be only used for racing. Big was my disappointment when after about 400Km I broke a spoke on the back wheel. I weigh 80kg and a mediocre rider. Right in the middle of the spoke. i could not believe this. Along with this was the further misfortune that I lost the 400km old Schwalbe Ultrimo. I immediately started to research "Breaking spokes on Eastons". Armed with this info I returned the wheel to Wayne Pheiffer Cycles (Port Elizabeth) ready to fight, only to be told "Don't worry we will sort it out". Great was the joy when I was phoned and told that the wheel will be completely respoked and the tube and the tyre will also be replaced. I think this is truly going the extra mile. Very difficult not to carry on supporting Wayne and Easton. Thanks

  10. Thanks My Garmin takes me to the gust house (Cape Country Cottage) and it is fairly easy to get onto the free way again to get to the start. So I fully rely on my Garmin to take me where I need to go. Wanted to create a route on my 705.
  11. I don't know Cape town at all and would like to know a safe rout (+_ 40km) in the Tygervalley area. I am staying there for the Argust so need a short and flat ride for the day before the race.
