  1. Hey Guys, a mate found this cycling computer & some gloves at Suikerbosrand. Please get in contact with me should they be yours. Assuming some proof of ownership will be required? (perhaps linkage to a pc/phone & the date of when lost).
  2. We did a ride year 10+ years ago following the contour path. Was pretty epic. I would take a short rope with you. Some sections where we had to lower our bikes as it is a hiking trail and not really made for MTB.
  3. Hey there My 2,0c worth. A few things you need to consider. As a physio myself working with surgeons I have learnt one thing. They are the one's that cut you open and see the damage, and that's why they "make the rules" What is a few extra weeks off the bike vs a complication due to pushing too hard too soon. As I am sure both the doc and your physio have explained, although the sequestration was removed your back will never 100%. You had to hVe surgery and some stuff was cut out. Cyclist in general are prone to L5/S1 disc issues purely by virtue of the fact of the position on the bike. Science has gone a long way in terms of rehab advice, bike fits, bracing etc. At the end of the day each person also recovers at a different rate, and not all disc problems are equal. It has a great success rate and you have seen other people give examples of how they got back on the bike. Bottem line Trust your health professionals, you have nothing to lose by going slower but you stand to lose a lot if you go too soon.
  4. The Elbow is a difficult one. If you search Dr. Google - Which can be fairly dangerous, you will see a variety of answers just like on this forum. Best thing is to see a Qualified person to make a diagnosis. The understanding around these types of injuries is improving and often the key is diagnosing what stage of the "Tennis elbow" you are in. There are some new novel treatments available such as PRP - Platlet rich plasma injections Eccentric strengthening Shockwave therapy Dynamic bracing Ergonomics - The way your desk is set up/PC etc is important. It is a time factor. If you spend hours in the wrong position each day you are going to develop problems. We were designed to move!
