  1. Had a similar problem with a lbs, wanting to send my wheels to cape town because of a bent spoke, thankfully i heard of cyclesphere in Durban. Took a drive over, and within 5 minutes spoke replaced, R60 incl labour. I was then told that the ksyrium wheels are supposed to be serviced every 600 to 800km I had this done, cost was R510 fro rear wheel, and R310 for front, and what a diffrence, they felt like brand new wheels. They also poured some special oil inbetween the rim walls to lube the spokes etc.
  2. you wont go wrong with mavic ksyriums + 100

    High 5

Hi hubbers I tried my free samples that i got from crc, and im very impressed. Had my future life for brerakfast, and did a 50km on the high 5. Still feeling fresh. I used the zero cal sport drink and the caffeiene one. By the way sparkport pharmacy is selling future life for R21.99. Has anybody else tried high 5?
  6. I bought a box OF Future life this morning from sparkport pharmacy in durban for R21.90, why is there such a big diffrence from retailer to retailer?
  7. Thanks for the answers so far @superj i am based in Durban @dubber88 i searched crank arm length on google and there are various sites
  8. Hi Hubbers I found a site on the net, that gives crank arm lengths acording to your leg length. After measuring i see that i need a 180mm crank arm. After searching the various sites i found that only Dura ace do a crank arm in that length. So my question, is there such a big diffrence between 175mm and 185mm , besides the obvious. And lastly who else makes big cranks. Thanks in advance
  9. Here,s my 5 cents worth, i have done over 300 000km on my fuel injected vehicle, i have used both types of fuel together, separately and no damage whatsoever. But then again it is an Opel
  10. Hi All My apologies if this topic has been on here before. I have my first race coming up in a weeks time, and wanted to know what are the do,s and don't,s with regards to training, eating, supplements and sleep etc. Thanks in advance
  11. Thanks for all the help and advice, you can always count on the hubbers
  12. Hi Hubbers I want to find out what is the best way to clean sti,s and lube them. I,ve noticed a gunk build up and what to get rid of it. And lastly I cycle close to the sea, and don't want the parts to start coroding. So before I do anything I need to hear what you hubbers suggest. Thanks in advance
  13. Something like that, it,s just the first time I,ve seen it
  14. Hi Hubbers This morning on my ride, I saw an inflatable pouch in a seat, I asked the fellow cyclist what it is, and he said it just inflates or deflates the middle of the seat. So my questin is, is this a gimmick or is there some reason for it being there.
  15. So how would one insure a (hub special) bike , thats built up from bits and pieces from hubbers? Given that all parts are brand new, as well as the frame, except that you got them at great prices.
