I finally built my first single speed....can't wait to hit the trails...

Still need to install the front brakes (need adapter), shorten the hoses...and I want to buy new grips and pedals...the rest is all brand new

Thanx, I will start with the new Deore chain riing, new Shimano 8 speed chain, and single speed sprocket with washers. I will order the Blackspire chain ring and put that on once I get it...just need to ride in the mean time!

From the pic the Dartmoor does look ramped, and I contacted the guys and they told me that it IS ramped? The blackspire looks great, a little pricey though....probably worth it?

The Dartmoor ones are ramped...then I might as well use the normal chain ring right? Can't find Hope anywhere...

My only issue now is to find a chain ring that is not ramped. I can get from CRC but don't know if I want to wait that long. Perhaps I will try to use the normal Shimano ring in the meantime...

That looks like a nice and simple design... don't know if I can wait that long for CRC to ship the parts

OK DMR vs On One I already have a spacer kit & sprocket...so buying it again will be overkill.... how do you guys rate the On One chain tensioner?
