My Merida frame broke recently, got great service from them, a loan bike for the weekend and the next week I got a new frame... Bought a Giant Anthem X1 so it is not to great to see this post....

Do you guys think that those black motorized gates towards the end of the 45km route will be open if we want to go and ride the route again?

My buddy just bought a 2012 Merida Big nine XT (Fox shock and XT groupset) for R13 000, I have the same bike its awesome!!

well some of my friend didn't have anything good to say about the carbon frame. If I can get some piece of mind that I'm not to heavy for the frame the I'll rather not sell it.

I recently bought a Raleigh RM X.O Carbon MTB, now i've heard that carbon frames aren't ideal for mountain biking? Is that really the case? I've just started to worry as I'm on the heavier side about 110kg. Should i consider getting an aluminum bike? Any opinions? Thanks
