  3. Cool, Thanks guys!
  4. Thanks! But is there weight not a problem, they are not very heavy but also not on the light side?
  5. I would like to stick to clinchers. How do you rate Mavic cosmic carbones?
  6. I know this topic has been debated for ages but I would really like to know, what is the best wheel for all round use, a light weight low profile wheel or a deep section heavier wheel?
  7. Same bike as previously, just another few small tweeks.
  8. The clear coat probably doesn't have enough hardner added, that's why it leaves indents when you press it but goes away in the sun.
  9. 7.1kg (Large Giant TCR hyrbid, Chorus/Record, Eurus Wheels)
  10. Thats light! What is it? Frame, groupset, wheels?
  11. I know its not the most important thing but just for interest sake, lets see how much the hubbers bikes weigh?
  12. Cool, Thanks for all the advice guys, it helps alot!
  13. Hi guys, Id love some advice on bike sizing. I am 184 tall with very long legs and a short upper body. I've measured my self and had it doen at westdene, tour de france, linden etc and all measure the same. 61cm. The problem is that currently I'm riding a L (55.5) giant but the virtual top tube length is a 58.5 which with my upper body just feeld to long. I've had a 90mm stem but the bike is just to twitchy with such a short stem so I changed it to a 110. Would a 56cm (L Scott) compact frame with a top tube lenght of 56 cm be to small for me? The giant is comfortable in terms of seat tube length but to long in terms of top tube? Any advice.
  14. No the spokes look like that because of the flash. The tires are kept clean by every now and then cleaning then with handy andy.
  15. Its costs +- R1500 and they can do pretty complex stuff! The problem with pannel beaters that do the paint is the extra wieght of the paint! I stripped my frame myself to bare al and carbon and after they painted it, the weight of all the paint and clear finish was just 55g!! Thats even less than the manufacturers ad when painting!!
  16. The sticker: I used transparency paper and printed the image in mirror image on the transparency paper with my normal HP printer. Printing on trancparency paper is the best quality you will get at home. Once finished, you can trun the transparency paper around to see the image wanted (the printed surface is now at the back) You then take a piece of vinal sticker, in this case silver and white and stick it to the back on the printed surface. After that you take dubble sided tape (sellotape thickness) and stick it to the back of the vinal and then it s ready for use! Just cut out the exact peice you want to use! Easy and very effective since come rain or shine, the printing wont come of since it is actually behind the trancparency and is protected by the vinal and dubble sided tape. Hope it makes sence!
  17. O yes, and the bike weight is 7.3 kg. Not bad for a basic Giant al/carbon frame with chorus grouppo.
  18. My own customized tubing sticker. Did it myself!
  19. Thanks! This was the original look before the silver change, not so nice!
  20. Thanks! Played around with different designs but at the end settled with this one.
  21. Before (well OK, the silver was yellow but I changed it silver) nero1232008-05-15 08:28:39
