Just goes to show that when you've got the opportunity to pull out some extra seconds use it!! The other day Andy said he could have pulled away and taken more seconds out of AC but they are working according to a plan and that he will be sticking to the plan! Well, I'm pretty sure the chain drop wasn’t part of the plan, so in future, rather use those opportunities than just working according to the book.

Nope, I've tried Park tool, those slime ones and RavX's no glue patches and found that out of about 20 used, 4 worked. And once you've used one that doen't work, its just a mess! you have to clean the area with a glue remover or something to remove the left over glue, before you can continue to repair again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

@nero123 there was a break just before the potholes. 2 mtn guys, myself, the polar guy (black kit), and some other guy. I got dropped on the hill and was stuck in no mans land until and I gave up trying to catch and let the group catch me. ended up finishing on 2:48 When the will power is high and the technique lacking, a sort of monster is create......THE HAMMER! Ah now it makes sense, with all the traffic issues getting in, I was way at the back of the bunch in the starting gate and chased to the front of the bunch or what I thought was the front of the bunch :-(

Also road GL after a 4 year absence, was leading the bunch through the potholes section and then sprinted up the hill with another guy, but no where close to 2:22. How does the polar kit look?

From the results its obvious that some guys took chances and started in groups above their seeding group i.e the best time in group GL is 2:22, no way in hell possible, even better than the Vets and A and B group! I though you got disqualified for doing this?

I also had 105.6 and a friend of mine with a polar 106.1, not 97 or 99!
