  1. Thanks , had a look. Some super deals. By the time we pay Vat (15%) and all the import duties(40%) into SA on delivery its no longer that good of a deal.
  2. I have 3 Pairs of these ZF2 FK that I rotate, all on about 800kms now but getting near the end of life. I forefoot strike so I can start to almost see the plate coming through at one point now Best Training shoe Nike have ever made IMHO, was so Pissed when they stopped selling them. The new ZF3 is not on the same level. I'm 500kms into a pair and still cant find the same comfort levels as the ZF2. and they hurt my Achilles. If I could find old ZF2 FK anywhere id stock up again.. so let me know if anyone knows a Rabbit hole I haven't checked.
  3. He is tapering now for US Olympic Marathon Trials on the 29th Feb.. sure he will take an easy few weeks after that , and then Build properly for Comrades..
  4. This... they have the R1bar Record Incentive on their website but wont commit to it happening when they have been asked..
  5. Yeah sorry , only saw that now catching up WRT Oceans, well that would be a balls up... Silver is tough enough over 56km's (or the 56.3km's it normally is), if it was exactly 58km's id probably have a small chance on a perfect day based on my 3h50 last year.... But if it did go that way, I think Id change all plans for a 4h30-4h40 58km Training run.. Will be a proper cock up though and for me personally it will be my 7th and last Oceans. Loskop Ultra is a Great day out and was only ever trumped by the beauty of Oceans (Both Oceans).
  6. Late to the Party, BUT he ran 12.51 not 13.51 Thus why Baderleys 13.48 Park Run "Could" be legit
  7. Cascadia is a Good shoe but very very Chunky and heavy For something lighter and faster I would go with the Pure Grit or Caldera if I had to buy in the Brooks Trail range. see link below to some decent specials https://brooksrunning-sa.co.za/men-trail-running-shoes/
  8. Quite amusing... I'm pretty sure those Disclaimers didn't appear on any of his anti Nike rants until he was called out yesterday on it.
  9. RT is a very one sided, one trick pony of late... and accordingly to a Tweet yesterday he is financially involved with Adidas.. so It pays him to bash the Nike technology.. literally Want a Good Fair look at how it came about and what would have happened even if Nike were completely transparent see below all the Time Nike were doing R&D no-one cared.. when they eventually found the Golden formula/Mix between Foam/Carbon and Stack height and released a World Beating Shoe... everyone went nuts.. https://www.outsideonline.com/2408971/nike-vaporfly-controversy#close
  10. Wasn't Far off.... Only Change is 40mm and not 36.... and now Nike will redevelop the Alphafly down to 40mm and release them in March.... This was a win win win for Nike...
  11. Not at all, there is mass hysteria and panic even on the Nike 4% Facebook page. Those were just my thoughts, again I could be wrong. The Guardian ran an article today saying they wont be banned... but who knows.. apparently an announcement will be made by IAAF at Month end
  12. Correct, If you live your Life off the "Daily mail "and "The Sun" you will still believe in fairies and the Sasquatch
  13. IMHO it wont happen... Too many record Books to rewrite now over the last 3 years I would bank they put a peg in the sand at 36mm Stack height.. This would leave the Vaporfly 4% and the Next% right on range (31- 36mm) But never let the Alphafly (Klipchoge's sub2 shoe) which is 46odd come to Market. (from memory, give or take a mm or 2) This will cover all their bases as Kipchoges sub2 was never recognized anyway Too many Companies have now done 3yrs R&D on carbon Racers to just scrap it all now. Also the Carbon has never been the main issue, stack height is. Could be wrong but those are my Thoughts.
