    Formula 1...

Nice to see Ferrari on top again. Also my favorite team. Unfortunately my fav' driver is Alonso . Not a big fan of Vettel. Can't really explain why but that's just the way it is...
  2. Nice! I can even see myself from the drone footage going over smashing pumpkins at 2min50s
  3. I saw it for the first time just after I talked to you and then walked down to check the A line. I think it was JP that I saw coming flying down there. I inspected the line carefully and used it for the first time in my race run! Must have made up 4 or 5 seconds!!!!!! Thanks JP
  4. I found most of the sneaky lines but I think i missed the one right after DVD
  5. Me too, but I am not blaming you. I know you were very busy during the event. And I had to get back to Tzaneen after the race was over.
  6. Hi to all. We, Tzaneen riders had a blast again at Hakahana. Thanks to all (Johan, Sean....) for a great event, I want to take the opportunity (don't want to hi-jack the thread!) to invite everyone to come and ride our enduro trails in Tzaneen. The trails are very friendly, with B-lines where needed and so can be ridden with any kind of Mountain bike. Ideally, we would like to have an enduro event this year but that could only work if a big portion of the guys (and girls) who rode this week-end at Hakahana, could also come to us. Otherwise we might only be 5 or 6 riders at best!!!! Any thoughts?....
  7. It amazes me how everybody seems to agree withe the course friendliness to novices and the B-line story. Here in Tzaneen, our problem is the lack of numbers. We are only 3 or 4 riders to ride our course regularly (turned out to be more of an enduro course than a gnarly DH one). So it took us (only 2 people building most of the time) over two years to complete the project! It is now to a stage where we have quite a few different line options plus B-lines everywhere needed (I counted about 20 B-lines on a +/- 4mn30s run!!). We are in the process of trying to organise an event this year, but it can only work if we get riders from outside the province to come and ride, otherwise, we will be 4 or 5!!!!!!! The course is really a lot of fun and enjoyable by all. Open 24/7, no entry fee. Come and try it out
  8. They are completely different tires...I wonder why they kept the name the same?????
  9. I waited about 3 months for 2 NN 2.4 and 2 MM 2.35 all in 26" but they were the only people I could get them from. Even so they offered a full refund every time I inquired, I had to tell them that I still needed the tires....
  10. Just put a NN 2.4 Pacestar at the back about a week ago. No complaints....Rolls quite good too
  11. Salut Fabien, good to hear from you even though we only met very briefly at the World Masters in 2013. I know it is a long way (I remember the trip down very well!) I still have to post the latest developments on the course......keep on following!!!
  12. Also wonder why....... actually it only makes sense because it is becoming increasingly difficult to find good fat 26" tires. Just got two Nobby nics 2.4 and two 2.35 Magic mary for stock!!!!

  14. The same one, modified a week later after coming way short and realizing that I do not have a DH bike anymore but only an #enduro..... Will try it this week-end weather permitting!!
  15. New 5 to 6m step down road jump (too) close to the fence...
  16. I think the Mankele Avalanche is 4-5 July.....
  17. Problem is the locals will always have an advantage because they will have been riding the course for weeks prior to the event. So even though I agree with you if no one rode the course before, it is almost impossible practically
  18. Nope, France is my country of birth and still have family members to visit there
  19. I echo this comment fully. I use to live in Somerset over 10 years ago and rode the WP DH series at the time. I use to know Marco personally through interactions at races and sometimes at his shop....
  20. I thought the Avalanche was 5-6 July? Or am I mistaken? It would actually suit me better in June. July clashes with my trip to France........like every year
  21. But with one time sheet you can surely devide yourself into your age catagory too if you really wish to, or compare yourself to the riders you want to Ok, but how do you know the age of people on that one time sheet???
  22. I ended 25th. Pity there was no age categories
  23. I only had 1.5l in my small backpack and finished having cramps in my legs on the way to the start of stage 4
