Thanks for the input Sabre484. My mate who is treating me is very reluctant to allow them to start with invasive surgery cause it always leads to more surgery. And he is adamant that he can treat it with medication to reduce the inflamation. I started the meds on Friday already and there is a huge reduction in the pain almost to the point where I am only now and again aware of a slight twinge and that is only three and a half days of treatment. Some of the drugs are supposed to cause drowsiness but I feel as though I am ready to hop on the bike right now.

Well had my MRI on Saturday afternoon and it is not all doom and gloom. No surgery required YAY!!!!!!!!! Is my neck stuffed yes it is. Can it be treated with medication yes definately. Problem is that I have some really bad inflamation in the neck which is cauing the C5 nerve to be inflamed and react badly causing the pain.

Had an EMG yesterday rather uncomfortable the doc sticks a rather long needle into your muscles and then starts proding around to test your various nerves. My C5 nerve which is the one that lifts your shoulder is kinda damaged and had very little response to the reflex tests as well. Going to have the MRI today hold thumbs that it is not all doom and gloom. Anyway the Doc was very optomistic and did say that I would be able to ride again

Well I am leaving PE at 12h25 and seeing the doctors at the Unitas hospital at 14h30. Think we are doing the MRI first thing when I arrive at the hospital.

I was at the Spar in 1st Avenue Walmer this morning and noticed this bike (SIZE SMALL) lying on the pavement outside the shop. It has Fuji grips on and the down tube was also very recognisable as a Fuji's down tube. Funny thing is, is that someone had gone to a lot of trouble to paint the whole bike navy blue even the front shock. Then the dude that climbs onto it is a MONSTER a human being.
