Hey thanks guys. I am lucky I have a mate who is a neurologist in Pretoria and just wanted to find out what it was like post op I suppose a six week break wont be to bad after the Trans Baviaans. Will have to use a lot of Pain killers but have to finish with my brother.

I had a nasty neck injury about 15 years ago and it is now giving me absolute HELL. Is there anyone out there who has had a neck fusion and still rides his bike? What sort of aches and pains do you have or is it the best thing(Fusion) you have ever done?

The Finish is at Mentorskraal Geust Lodge at the top entrance of J/Bay. Apparently we finish off with about 2 kay's of single track all flipping uphill.

I like my RC3000 and am not pedantic about how it gets stored or transported etc, etc and I don't think I would be any faster on a so-called exotic/expensive bike. Anyway that is my 100 million zim $ worth.

Bike lyk mooi Jo. Only time I saw that bike on the weekend was at the Start and about 4 1/2 hours later at the blooming finish. Sean he is so flipping fast he only needs one water bottle so unfair.

Well done Shamus. Just bought my second pair of Candy Egg Beaters so that I have them on both my bikes. Just finished putting the cleats onto my second pair of shoes. Very cool product. I just love my Candy's/Egg Beaters (Entry Level x 2)

Do you really think that the other sports are any cleaner? Only looks like it as the other sporting codes do not test as often as cycling does. Me thinks they are all dirty(All Sports codes) however not all sports people are dirty end of fairy tale. But hey I still rush home to go and watch the last two hours or so.
