  1. Short answer is no but you can have one made. What wheel size is it for? That A2C is something you would find for a 26er but those usually only come in QR.
  2. Great idea. Point to point races can be a logistical hassle. I think a circular route would tempt more people to enter.
  3. How many riders did they get for the Nova event?
  4. Cannondale Synapse with 32c.
  5. We haven't been sent a list of entrants and there isn't one on the website. What I have heard is that there are 140+ entrants. Don't think Martin Dryer is doing it.
  6. You won't get any joy from Darling Brew. The race is run by an events company that is responsible for putting on the race on their behalf. They now have 1,900 riders in the event and are still using manual timing? That does seem odd.
  7. Is the course well marked or are there marshals at key turns?
  8. Isn't this exactly the same frame with new colors? The 1 x rear triangle was on last years bike. There was rumor of a Vipa trail but that never materialized. I personally don't think Momsen is evolving. They are using the same mold and manufacturing the same frame with new colors. It's a good bike (I owned one) but they do need to innovate.
  9. A Revelation 120 has been a massive improvement over the Fox 32 on my Vipa. Works beautifully with the Fox shock. Suspect it would be great on this frame as well.
  10. Good event? Keen to hear details of what kind of turn out they got the route etc. If anyone did it on a cross or road bike also like to hear about how that was.
  11. Not working for me either. Not related to entry system but I hope the race organiser gets it right this year. Its always tricky to run multiple distance races on a shared course. They cocked it up last year but I see it's a new course for 2016 so perhaps it will be better.
  12. A couple of weeks ago I took the free option and it took 4 working days. Delivered to my house. This was during a time that the PO in Joberg was on strike so I had accepted I would have to wait weeks for it. Really surprised at how fast it was.
  13. This bike combines outstanding comfort (for a hard tail) and pretty nimble handling. Very impressed with it. And the cool thing is that in years to come a quick rub with a scotch brite pad will have the frame looking brand new.
