Epic Sports at Doornkloof Mall does outrides on Tuesdays at 16:30 and Saturday mornings at 06:30. There are also a few guys/girls who ride at 05:30 on most Monday and Thursday mornings at 05:30. All MTB. Wednesday at 06:30 there is usually a road ride. You can contact Sune at the shop on 012 667 6473 to confirm time and place...

The way Mathilda is improving every day, she may just join us for the braai on the 15th (although she's already talking about riding with us...)

Mandibles, you can change mine to ride and braai. I'm going to blame Mathilda's condition for my confusion - the office function that I mentioned is on 15/2, not 15/3!!! So I will be able to ride and braai.

I've got a work thing on that weekend, which ends at 09:00 on the Sunday. Will pop around for the braai afterwards. I hope that Mathilda will be able to join us next time .......................

Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. Estelle, I hope that this incident does not put you off cycling. I am currently going through what your family and loved ones will go through (my fiance was stabbed 3 1/2 weeks ago while out cycling and is still in ICU). I hope that she will still want to cycle (MTB) when she is able to do so - there are so many km of this country that still need to be explored together...

In addition to the rides mentioned by Jagwil, Epic Sports (Doornkloof) also does: 1) road rides at 05:30 on Wednesday mornings 2) sometimes (depending on numbers) group rides on Monday or Thursday afternoons at 16.30 (we went out in the mud and rain this afternoon) 3) informal road rides on Sunday mornings (organised by some of the club members - so it doesn't necessarily happen every Sunday - laps around Klapperkop)
