Luxembourg media reported that Schleck, who was handed the 2010 Tour de France title after original winner Alberto Contador failed a drugs test, had suffered a sacral fracture in his lower spine. Schleck, who was second overall in last year's race, has endured a mediocre season and retired from last week's Criterium du Dauphine after crashing in the individual time trial stage. The 27-year-old is scheduled to hold a news conference in Luxembourg at 1400 GMT (1600 CAT, SA) on Wednesday.

The Power Track / starting at Hinterzarten, was established in 2006, this track is 88 km long and has 2.300 m difference in altitude. The Marathon / starting at Kirchzarten, is the Classic distance with 77 km and 2.000 m difference in altitude. The Short Track / starting at Hinterzarten, Short Track is the shortest track; 43 km long and 900 m difference in altitude. All tracks arrive at Kirchzarten. In 2011there will be a new distance called Speed-Track (52,4 Km / 1.130 m elevation), it starts in Todtnauberg and arrives - as all other distances - in the sport stadium of Kirchzarten.
