Oldie and black for now.

I do find some of the weights guys throw out a bit questionable

Rocky Mountain Element 970, medium - 11,3kg. Including pedals, spare tube, bottle cage, multi-tool, 2 bombs and inflator. Also has Giant dropper post.

Shot man, I will need to think of some creative ways to cross that bridge when U get there... working on a fly now pay later deal

Had shoulder issues a while back. Started off with not being able to move the arm when I would wake up, then ended up lasting for 2 days. Eventually turned out to be a calcium build up in the joint. One surgeon wanted to go in and grind it out, went to Shoulder institute in Stellenbosch - they said it was breaking down already and they just flushed it with some saline solution. Hasn't been back again. Apparently it is quite common in women.

First time doing the 60km, was this route the same as previous years?

I need to get a new derailleur hanger for my Ibis (plus a spare), anyone know offhand of shop in Cape Town that might have. Going to do some calling tomorrow but figure someone might know of a place that might have a good chance of having one?

I am looking to find some light weight tubes for emergencies. A good few years back I was able to buy a nice light and compact (when folded) spez tube. Now when I go into the local shops and ask fir a lightweight 26" tube all I get is a confused look. Anyone know if these still exist?
