  1. Professional, efficient, friendly ........ all the right ingredients for successfull business dealings , and the products are top notch.
  2. lost a bet ( mkay 8km sprint ) had to shave ALL hair off....... its freekin cold man, wife seems to digg it, seems a bit sadistic. Did it in school for athletics(legs), but must say on the MTB side it helps with the dings, bashes and scratches you pick up. Nothing like a nice roastie under your overgrowth.
  3. Was personally more involved in explosive power disciplines provincial polevault and longjump. however the hipswing referred to Azonic is coupled with force of impact wich normally creates the explosive power sprinters require for forward inertia. Tendens and muscles work together to create spring power, ie a spring within a coil within a cylinder, force absorbtion redux efficiency into release. Anyway , is he the only double amputee in the world that can deliver these times ? Does any and i repeat any prosthesis on the market actually give you an advantage ...... come on man. This okie puts in many many many hours of sweat to be able to run those things the way he does, give him the kudo's he deserves.
  4. started with a small plastic motorbike, worked my way up to a tricycle. got first motox bike 50 cc scrambler at age 4 ( with training wheels , dad took them off the bmx ) ..... fell my guava off a couple of times. Did not own any bike or bicycle therafter, till age of 14 ..... cycled to school in Paarl till standard 8 then went to hostel. Didn't cycle for a good while , general school sport pole vault & hockey took over. Started cycling agin this year +/- 17 years out of the saddle. Loving it and wife digs cycling ALOT more than golf so she is also looking to take up cycling now.So glad to have started again.
  5. GT 29" and scott tampico 26" ........... gonna get a road bike soon , as my "collegues" only use their MTB's on the road whats up with that? I cannot entice them to a NF loop at all ......... kromdraai is nice but not that nice.
  6. my reasonable and moral side agrees with you on this one ...... the bedonnerde , hurt , ugly side of me says: Strap them to the front of a Ratel or Bosvark with razor wire and drive throught the thickest bush you can find.!
  7. Hey Madvics..... many permitation regarding duties and excise .... type of itme .... weight etc ........ this link might assist http://www.sars.gov.za/home.asp?pid=483 hope it helps
  8. Balance ........ work will kill you .... cycling might not. The outdoors........ being in a bubble can only suck. To introspect , to reflect ..... to interact...... to LIVE! To push hard or slow down ....... to sit up and take in ..... to get your head down and crank hard .......to be more...... to be less ..... to switch on, to turn on. While life passes by for most people, i pass them on my bike..... smile and wave........
