but parafin is oil base, I dont think it can have any effect on the lube getting into the links.....hey, but thats my 'unqualified' opinion.

Di CPD...you remove one link, 2 pins, and replace that with the powerlink

if you clean with a solvent and leave to dry in the sun it will rust.....not so? I take mine off and clean with parafin....leaves an oily residue so prevents rust

Havnt had mine for long but rate them big time already. Roll very nice with smooth bearings. Also tubeless ready which is a big plus. Check some reviews on the net....you wont be dissapointed.

Just remember if you arent too sure about the repair, and safety could be compromised......rather get a new groupset.....and possibly a new frame too!
