  1. Hi do you or anyone have a route profile for the long race? Thanks
  2. Clive - the Cycling South Africa website has the regulations etc and some of the info you have been given by other responses is correct. One thing, the age groups have changed and it is now u15 and u17 and there is no longer u14 or u16 even though most bike race entry sites still refer to those age groups. So the year your children turn 15 or 16 means they race under 17 (currently kids born in 2002 or 2003.) I bought my son his racing cassettes on Bike 24 which is a German site - although pricey they are great quality and you can source 10 or 11 speed. Good luck.
  3. Not 100% sure. Looked like a nissan 370Z sports car but it may have been a Toyota sports car. Still trying to identify the owner.
  4. Have any cyclists had a problem with a driver with a personalised number plate which reads ALLURE? My wife and I had a problem on River Road in Bryanston at 6.15am on Friday morning?
  5. On Sunday 7th Dec between 7.30 and 8.00am a cyclist was I believe seriously injured in an accident outside Toadbury Hall in the Cradle. I am trying to find the contact details for the injured cyclist so if anyone can help that would be appreciated.
  6. I've been with the club for over 10 years. Club rides are superbly organised, they offer a safe regular option, they have great back up and offer variety based on fitness. The after race tents at the Argus and 94.7 are superb. The value over the year is also worth it, and you have the option to ride with the MTB rides as and when you want to.
  7. Any contacts for repairs of a carbon frame (MTB) would be appreciated.
  8. On Saturday Morning, 12 January 2014 at 06h15, a road cyclist was travelling along Andre Greyvensteyn Ave, past Simba Chips towards Garden Court. Just past Hulley Road on the left he started started to climb the hill towards the bridge that crosses the railway line, towards Pretoria Road and Kempton Park. It was at the top of the hill that he was hijacked by three men armed with a gun and a knife. The gang took all possession (even removed gloves to check for wedding ring) but left the bike. Cyclist was punched in the face but otherwise unhurt.
  9. Where exactly is burry's bike park?
