O.k Gave the Garmin it's first run out Last night Awesome little toy if i do say so. the 1 question i stillhave is .. the base map is very vague with only the main roads on, can I upload a detailed base map? so I can follow roads rather than the general direction ? more like the map on a car gps ? thanks covie when I searched for everytrail.co.za it only came up with everytrail.com is this the same site ? thanks just want to use the garmin to it's full potential.

After buying my garmin 800 yesterday I'm not sure how to get the best out of it, Do I need to load maps on ? are there trails I can follow using the garmin ? I plan to use it on my mtb so was hoping to discover some new trails with it Am i in the right direction or way off? Are there any special features that will blow my mind ? the instruction book is very vague thanks again

O.k Just bought a Momsen AL529 R-type Loved it. looked at the scott 29er 940 and the BMC speedfox sf29 but the momsen just suited what I wanted and for under 20k also got a Garmin 800 that everyone seems to love now can't wait for the weekend to get a good run out on it thanks for advice everyone

My Friend just bought a silverback mercury elite ds 29er it's nice just need to have a good go on it and see how it performs. Never usually like to ride someone else's bike encase I come off and scratch or wreck it

I'm a medium Unfortunately. Had an Awesome ride on a 26 hardtail Giant yesterday forgot just how much adrenalin pumps thru on the downhill bits Will a 29er turn as quick as a 26 i.e responsiveness ??

Hi I'll admit straight away i'm a newbie. Been out of the mountain bike game for a good number of years so very rusty. I entered st johns dsg yesterday and had an awesome day and now hooked again now i just need to buy my own bike and wondered if anyone has any recommendations around the 20k price range i'm sure you guys and girls have more knowledge than I can cram in my brain thanks Stewart
