  25. HI Everyone Just wanted to give a review on the Momsen AL529 R-Type Went out on my first run with the new bike last night, have to say loved it It's very comfortable even being a hard tail I had the tires at around 2 bar I did change the tubes before I went out to kwik seal tubes, I know it has tubeless rims but I didn't want to spend R800 changing perfectly good tires I will do the upgrade in a few months one the bank account is a bit healthier again. Climbing wasn't a problem powered up the hills only thing letting it down was my fitness. was very controllable on the single trails and down hills gave me loads of confidence to push a little bit. The shock lockout in theory is brilliant, I used it when climbing to great extent, sometimes forgetting i'd locked out the shock not an issue the biggest problem was the lever got stuck a few times and i had to manually lift the leaver again, not a huge problem but not one that shouldn't happen. the Sun ringle hubs very nice glides lovely just a little bit noiseyer when free wheeling compared to the guys I was out with again i'm not gonna change them the benefits out weigh the slightly noisey free wheeling. Overall I'm Very Very Happy with the bike comfortable, agile, great climber and awesome to look at. I'd rate it a good 8.8 out of 10 the remote lockout problem letting it down. I've linked my route HERE with the garmin 800 so you can see I didn't just cycle round the block Thanks to Everyone who suggested the Momsen Range to me.
