  1. Hi guys. I managed to sell my Expobar Brewtus and am looking to upgrade to something like a La Marzocco Linea Mini or even a GS3. Any chance that anyone on here has one that I want to offload?
  2. It's the Office Leva - https://www.wholelattelove.com/expobar-office-lever-semi-automatic-espresso-machine It has a heat-exchange boiler so no PID.
  3. Hi guys We're renovating our kitchen so I'm thinking of upgrading my coffee setup at the same time. I have an Expobar Office Leva and a Baratza Vario grinder that I may want to sell. Is there any interest?
  4. Tried them all. Definitely East City Cycles
  5. This is great thanks! So looks like the same amount of climbing just over a much shorter distance?
  6. I would recommend Chaoyangs. They're pretty good at the price
  7. Had a Reverb previously - reliability is definitely an issue. I now have a Fox Transfer and am very happy.
  8. Did you end up buying something? I have decided to put my SC Tallboy 2 CC (size large) up for sale. It's got a great build. Haven't listed it on here yet, but let me know if you're interested.
  9. Hi guys. I have a race entry that I would like to swap for a Trail or Adventure entry if anyone's interested.
  10. Hi guys Apologies if this has been asked somewhere in this thread. I'm looking for a reasonably good starter espresso machine that will last for a long time. Was thinking about something like this: http://onlinecoffeeshop.co.za/shop/espresso-coffee-machines/crem-expobar-office-lever-brewtus-domestic-espresso-coffee-machine/ Any other suggestions? Would something like this last?
  11. Another happy 520 user here. Had an 810 previously anf prefer the 520. Also like the buttons more than the touch screen.
  12. A bit of feedback for those interested: I decided to fit the zippering on the back and hornet in the front and have now done 2 rides - one ride was around 65km at Northern Farm and the other was 70km in the Spruit. So far they've held up pretty well including some testy bits on the rocky sections on the Northern Farm black route. Grip has also been really good so I'm pretty impressed. I may even end up doing the Sani2C with them.
  13. Go to a Specialized dealer (no I'm not a Spez fanboy) and sit on the spongy sit bone measuring device -that should point you to the correct width. Then get one of their saddles. I would recommend a Power saddle - I've got 3 of them on my different bikes. Not sure what the cost of the cheapest one is though.
  14. They have something called 'shark skin', which I presume could be similar to grid?
