I regreased my front hub this morning, and cleaned up the cone and cups. I have adjusted the hub just right so that there is no side play in the wheel when i try put pressure on the wheel to the left or right. My question is that, is it normal if when i squeeze the brakes tight the wheel moves slightly forward and back ? If i lift the bike in the air, and squeeze the brakes and move the wheel forward and back, all seems good. But when i put the bike on the ground and squeeze the brakes, i feel the wheel slightly move forward and backwards. But there is absolutely no side play which is good. Hi guys, i am looking at converting my wheels to tubeless. I know the best way to go is Stans sealent, but i want to see what happens if I make my own sealent. First of all I am going to use latex liquid as the main substance. But what does it help to use window washer or anti freeze diluted with it. And if there is a purpose of anti freeze or window washer. Will there be a difference if Iuse either one ? Thanks !!!!

Yes I had to remove the non drive side cup manually, as it was totally seized. And when in the cutting it out, I did not realize i was cutting into the threads. Thats why it is only that tiny section.

Thanks, so the tapping tool will take away any stripped threads and make the threads like new ?

Hi hubbers Please could you share your thoughts on what I should do. I have removed an old BB from my roadbike frame, however when removing it, it seems I messed up the threas in a certain spot (as seen in picture) its a really tiny section that is messed up.. So my question is, will I be able to fit a new Bb ? Or wil that small section of messed up thread stop me from fitting a new BB ? Thanks And just out of interest, if it is a problem, do you get bike shops who re-thread something like this ?

And why wouldnt it seep it out through 'tubeless ready' sidewalls ? Thanks

What is the difference if I use my current tyres with a tubeless conversion or if I use 'tubeless ready tyres' ?
