So this week end( Sunday ) i went out to try out suikerbossie, i was amazed to see so many people out on that road at that time. it looked like the Argus tour started and they forgot to close the roads !!! was good fun though !

was thinking the R102 riding it all the way into maitland and from there into OBZ.

Ok so after getting my ass handed to me on helshoogte i think i need alot more training. thanks to buzzman he has advised me that i should atleast do 25-30km a day (also including more hills in the training). i live in blue downs and work in Observatory, i was wondering if commuting from there into the city is a good idea?. i have been told there isnt a safe route also been told that 35km each way will leave me limp by the time i get to work or when i get home. has anyone tried this ?

Has any one been having problems with the app recently ? i have one problem were the rides do not Sync Up / Upload. some times it can be annoying like when you have done a big ride. also the website seems to be acting up. it doesnt display anything properly.

thanks dizzy lizzy and dee biker. i will consider it just as a starter ! hate being the slowest in the pack !!!! but thanks you guys for the vote of confidence i know alotta of my buddies are interested in cycling but are scared to come out due to the more experinced riders leaving them in the dust. but with support like what i am recieving motivates newcomers. thanks again guys

I get the feeling in the only Indian that walks in there cause they look at me funny almost like they think" I didn't know Indians road bicycles " lol I could be wrong lmao :-D But all in all I just fetched my bike I'm also a weekend warrior type they replaced my bottom bracket, sorted a puncture , fixed a buckled rim ,replaced a gear cable , put on new cable ties on my bike computer , lubed and set the chain ,gears and brakes checked and adjusted , also I think they washed it not sure but in looked cleaner. All this set me back R410,00 ..... I think that is pretty dam awesome and I dropped the bike there at 11:00 this morning , explained to the guy that I'm training for the burger tomorrow and if possible would like it back the afternoon, 4:00pm an SMS came my bike is ready for collection. I think that's awesome service from my lbs.

as topic reads has anyone used them ? how was their service they are the closest bike shop in my area. i would like to use them. any advice ? i have searched i cannot find a thread about them.
