  5. I would like to be a marshall, any free **** is alway cool, free beer after the event would be a welcome addition.
  6. Firstly congrats on the bike, I also had a GT, with the same rack. Clamp the first clamp just before the triple triangle and the second clamp just before where the bottom tube joins the steerer tube on the bottom tube, hope you understand.
  7. The part of the post in the frame does not move, there is another shaft that moves within the post, I am sure that it would have been designed in a way that when fully extended that it is still within the safe zone. But we've seen what you do to wheels so valid question
  8. They are clamp bits for a set of matchmaker clamps. In order to have your trigger shifters, brakes and reverb adjuster thingie on one clamp on your bars. Assuming you are running a SRAM cockpit.

  18. That's hardcore! Those rocky descents and river crossings on the TT route must of been hectic in the rain...
  19. Dirt roadie decision. Ridiculous! RT @shangwilson: Race called off due to rain...absolutely disgusted!!! Seriously? It's MTB, not club cricket. Rain, mud are part of MTB. RT @w2wmtb: @Mr_TREAD Depending (cont) http://t.co/FlYIQShF This must have been a back line decision from the touch rugby squad!!! Riders signed indemnities!! @shangwilson @w2wmtb why no backup plan for bad weather? What about doing day 2 over or farm roads to Hermanus? A great race like this needs a finish. SA MTB OFFICIALS JUSTIFY CANCELATION OF CONTEGO WINES2WHALES FINAL STAGE – full story here: http://t.co/685QqI4Y @ Mr_Tread @neilgreyling @Mr_TREAD To paraphrase Chopper Reed 'Grow a moustache and Harden the F%^& Up'. Fear for mtb in this country.
  20. Apologies for the *** spelling! Too much Wine and the autocomplete on the iPad .
  21. You forgot to mention the riding through human excrement, and poor organisation.
  22. Quite a storm on Twitter that they cancelled the last stage due to "too much rain" What a laugh, must of been a roadie decision. What about contingency plans? I would of been hacked off big time, surely mud and rain are part of the fun?
  23. I'm going to be driving to JHB on the weekend of the 25th, if you can wait that long, I will take my bike carrier with me and gladly bring it back for you, mahala!
