  1. Ha! barely.
  2. Plasti-Dip Liquid Rubber Coating, available at Midas, Autozone etc
  3. Here's the Blue baboon!
  4. The Palos is a great idea. I'd use it anytime, I use a "bum bag" when riding the dirt bike, much easier carrying the weight on your hips rather than on your back, the straps irritate my shoulders, so this is a great solution.
  5. Mentored by David George early in his career.....
  6. What a waste of money sending him there, I am sure there is a good explanation (I hope), I don't think he has doped (I hoped), but he certainly is stupid. Why are these lighties not mentored properly? I would make him refund the money it costs to get him there!
  7. You don't have to. Fit a piece of aluminium to the 2 existing bottle cage holes Let the aluminium extend past the cage Drill another hole in the aluminium strip and attach the lunchbox, to that hole. Add a rubber grommet to the underside of the aluminium strip so that it does not scratch the frame, or even cable tie it down, viola, okes at Concept Cyclery in Ballito told me about the solution. The retail price for the tool, 2 cages, chain breaker tool and the lunch box is R 2000 for all of the kit. It also includes a tyre lever and CO2 thingamajig.
  8. I have never lost a Camel Bak Podium bottle either with the cage.
  9. Have used the Sahmurai sword twice already, no issues, same with the chain breaker, used it at home first on a new chain. Like all things, learn to use it properly and they way it was designed and you should not have any issues. The tools are not the one to be blamed here methinks....
  10. The cage is around R200, the chain breaker tool R450, and the multitool, R450 too, if memory serves.
  11. I have the cage and multi tool on my PYGA, I also have the Specialized chain breaker that fits into the fork steerer (Looks like a top cap) it holds a multilink and together with the multitool is your chain breaker. The bottle cake IMO is the best available, the multitool works perfectly and has the essential tools needed, the chain breaker is genius! The products are extremely well made, and will go down as one of my best MTB acquisitions, I am not a Specialized fan, but this kit, is brilliant. I also don't like gear in my pocket and with my Sahmurai in my bars, I can now fill a bottle with water, jump on my bike and go ride, knowing I have 95% of my bases covered WRT technical issues on the trail. I have a small Lezyne CO2 pump and Bomb, that I take with, then I'm sorted. not cheap though, but worth every cent.

  13. Two great derby's yesterday, I'm a huge Lions fans, but watching Dwayne play like he did yesterday was something else. De Allende, was brilliant, both shoe ins for the boks, that Stormers scrum, scrummed the Bulls into pieces. The Lions playing for each other the way the do, makes it undoubtable, that Ackerman is without a doubt the best coach in SA at the moment. The crowd support at the local games is also something we can be proud of.

This is the bowling performance we have been waiting for, the best batter in the WC so far, to be wrapped up by our bowlers like that is a remarkable performance. I don't thing Sri Lanka batted poorly, we simply outclassed them with the ball, Tahir is shaping into a serious force in this WC, the best spinner at the moment. QdK now has the opportunity to play himself into form with no pressure, the value of this goes way beyond the score we chasing.....
  16. Arianne & Annika have already put 10 minutes into the field at Water Point 1, they may even be back in the lead today. It is incredible how these 2 can ride!
  17. This is a shame, but in their form, my money would be on them to still take the win, no doubt they will ride the stuffing out of the field today.
  18. Then it is a remarkable picture, I have also just heard that they are banning Land Rovers from riding in the dunes in Namibia, the oil slicks are posing a serious environmental risk...
  19. Hands down the best series I've ever watched.
  20. No dust cloud behind the car, no "sand wheels" around the wheels and driving in the desert with your window open, not that it matters though, just my observation.

  23. Without any doubt the best Enduro Motorbike tyre in the world, not cheap, but around 90% of all hard Enduro events around the world are won on Mitas!
