  1. I have been feeling quite the opposite, I really used to be a very passionate DH rider and then XC and a little road but stopped riding 3 years ago as work took over my weekends(wedding photography) and since hearing the news on thursday evening all I have wanted to do the whole time is ride. Its as though I feel life can be so short, that you got to make the most of your time and if riding is what one must do then so be it. If there is anything positive about the incident( which only amounts to .0001%) its that this legend has proved that we can unite and share our passion for the sport, even if we havnt ridden for a while. All I have done today was look at the events calender to plan my year around riding, and I must say, Burry is the reason for this! I must say, seen Burry around when we were youngsters at DH events, but I have been so sad as though he has been a close friend! What a legend!

    Windy Cape!!!!!!

as i sit here on the 13th floor of the garden centre not being able to sleep cos the wind is howling against this building in full force and its 2:30am i can only just imagine how many other cyclist are currently sayin: OH S#!t. i look over the streets of CT and the trees are at a 45 angle. its not long to go before the start, all i can say to everyone is Good F@&*(!ng luck, i dont usually swear but the argus only comes once a year and my nerves cant handle this, he he.
  3. wont wind resistance be sick on that frame? just some1 with 2 much time at hand. ive also seen an image about a new concept for car wheels about 2 years back that looks pretty stupid, i dont see it on car today. so i dont think this is the fuutre design.
  4. maybe its the spirit of a race riding alongside other riders that makes me enjoy an event, better then waking up at 10am with a screaming hangover is how i always feel. i can understand that a goodie bag makes one feel special, it bring out the kid in us to see whats inside, and yes a newspaper goodiebag was a bit of an anticlimax, however i did read through it, and i did eat my raising and drank my bottle of water. but if i hear the news today about the flooding in the kempton/boksburg area i can only say im glad the event isnt this weekend. i heard a pre-race briefing at the start. it was pretty technical mud which was good training for us all. he he. forest section was OK, if it was a one lap race with no crowding i would have enjoyed it a bit more. got a medal although it looks a bit odd next to the road event medal from the next day, but its more then i recieved from some triathlons. As i said, good or bad, we rode it alongside each other and went through the same sludge, nobody had it any better. will be there next year, work permitting.
  5. so it would be good for MTB? with a plush ride. Damn now you got me starting too.

  7. Thanks man, so TCR advanced for me and a defy for the missus it will be! i love this site, it has the answer to everything!!!!!!!
  8. i would like to find out how big the difference is between the 2009 TCR and the new defy models are in the giant lineup, does the defy take over what the OCR was in the past? i just feel that anyone really wants to be faster when it comes to their cycling, so would you be naturally quicker on a TCR as opposed to the new defy, both models look so good but i would imagine the defy to probably suite the budget more for the same spec.
