I had my first car connection this morning. Lady turning right into the lane I was coming down in. Hit the side of the car and rolled off the side. Lucky the bike is ok ????. The body is a bit sore but at least I landed on my feet. Ironically the day I sold my car ( I ride my bike a lot more than my car) is the day I had a collision. Not going to tell the wife. So I thought l’ll share it here with you guys. And still after this incident, I still prefer my bike commute than a car commute. Shame, poor lady was shaken up badly. In the end I was the one comforting her.

I’m super keen to do these races, but racing against guys doing it for a living seems like a waste of time, personally. I like to be competitive, but there’s just no chance against those guys. They should have a age group/ non pro/ full time working group for the under 30 guys and gals. Just my 2 cents. Maybe then more will compete?

This is more a wahoo in general question? Is there any way from your side ( Wahoo South Africa) that you can convince Discovery to use wahoo as a official training tool, like they do with Garmin? I’ve requested it numerous times from Discovery to no avail.

Since I read this post a few days ago, I’ve been trying to understand his position and trying to see it from his perspective, but I can’t. I think this reaction is one reason why there is a doping problem. There’s no accountability among peers. Look at the guys commenting on that post. They should be outraged. Not standing behind MK, saying it’s a ok, you made a mistake. It’s fellow “pros” backing him, saying everyone makes mistakes? How can you call yourself a friend if you beat him on numerous occasions, knowing you cheated? Surely this then suggests that people in his inner cycling circle knew? How is this an example for the younger riders?

Just picked up my bike with the final upgrades. Xx1 formula r1 brakes and carbon lefty. 9.5Kg

I've done the general lee conversion on a pg 1070 cassette with the wolf chainring upfront, 34t and a x9 RD. I've got some issues when the chain hits the GL adapter it takes ages to get on it? I've had it at my LBS but cant seem to get the shifting smooth. anyone experiencing the same issue? any advise on how to fix the problem? Btw I love the conversion so far and haven't run out of gears as of yet.
