  1. I've had the Buzzrack 3 for 6 months. No worries whatsoever. Fits a AM, a DH bike and a small HT. Great value for money, picked it up at Sportsmans Warehouse for 2799. You may need to remove pedals on the middle bike to fit three, but I think that is so for many platform racks that fit more than 2 bikes. Also, since you use small tiedowns on the wheels and frame, there is next to no damage to the bike from the rack, as apposed to a hanging rack.
  2. Nee man, kom ry! Ek was by Helderkruin af op die Reign, no worries (paar chicken lines though )

  7. So after running the 1x front chainring on the outside of the crank spider, I've realised that shifting up to the biggest gear (36T) in the back results in some crazy cross chain unhappiness. I removed the chainguide once more and found that what I thought were just washers that are supposed to be there, are in fact 2mm spacers that push the top and bottom guide away from the inside. I removed these spacers and that freed up some space. Removed the chainring off the outside of the crank spider and put it back on the inside (where the middle ring should go) and refitted the crank. Almost had enough clearance between the chain guide adapter and the suspension linkage. Removed the chain guide and adapter once more, filed the top screw (that goes from through the chain guide holes to the adapter) down to flush with the back of the adapter, and HEY PRESTO! It all fits! You gain enough space on the inside to push the guide further in. Yay! so to recap - you CAN fit a csixx 110 chain guide onto a pressfit BB frame (like the Giant Reign 2012) and run a 1x10 setup with the chain ring in the middle position of the crank. You just need to apply some elbow grease with a file to the adapter and the top screw that goes into the adapter. So SIR Maxxis, thanks for the offer of help, but I'll have to swop that for an offer to go for a ride instead
  8. Thanks, now to find an emery wheel
  9. Thanks, does that number still work? Tried it a few times but only voicemail I can rotate the guide about 20degrees which does not help at all. I live in Fourways
  10. HI all I'm converting an SLX triple crank on my 2012 Reign to 1x10 with a Csixx guide. I've stripped the crank and removed the granny and big chainrings. Got the ISCG adapter for the chain guide on, mounted the chain guide and remaining (middle 32T) chainring is rubbing against the chain guide. Chain guide is adjustable for 32T to 42T chain rings, so it's not that the chain ring diameter is too big - rather it looks like there just isn't enough space between the chain ring and the guide laterally (if that makes sense?). The idea I have, is to move the 32T chainring to the outside of the mounting holes on the crank, basically mount the 32T where the outer ring used to be and creating some clearance on the inside so the chainring doesn't rub the guide Question: will this work? And where in JHB can I find the narrow chain ring bolts (used for single speed) - it seems singlespeed.co.za is not going anymore Pierre
