Ok, I'm ready. Been running around like a chicken who lost his head, didn't cycle that much but for 30 k's cycling I personally need to focus more on the running part, although you can make up more time on the cycle part.

Maybe start with a more open and flat first section to open up the field, that mountain was to fast on us. Switchbacks is supposed to be the jerry on the cake, not the whole cake!

900m Ascent, they took the cement climb out of race when coming back over the ridge, a bargain. The terain is similar to van Gaalen but much better. Definately a race to do.

76.3km and 1360m garmin 800. After this race the Hakahana is not bad at all! Ascents no problem but that descent? Stange river crossing, a tree? Will do it again.

It is strange that it worked before? How can they not scan you at the beginning, so we can skip the first few k's and start fresh in the middle!

My wife and I are exactly the same SASeeding index, they put me in D batch and her in E batch, it happened before usually she is in a better batch then we just move down to the same batch. We always ride together, that's why our seeding indexes are the same. The problem is we both finished on the same time again but they added 8 minutes to my time? Is it a penalty and why, or is it a mistake? I already send a email to Jumpertrax but no reply yet. The results are already through to SASeeding, aren’t they supposed to first handle all the discrepancies before sending it through?

I did the Dusi2c last year with edge 800, and this year I used it with the Sani2c. It work perfectly aslong as you zoom in enough. The alarm is also fast in telling you if you missed a turn. I would suggest you get a "Out front bike mount" it is easier to follow root and watch where you're going!!

All the WPs were great. Those old oomies and tannies at the Lions table were great, the kids in Valley were super helpful! BUT that first WP on Day 3 with the boeries...... hmmmm<br/> Did you taste those potatoes lying in that boerie sauce....yamie!!!!

Had the same problem after Sabie, mud in shifter could only use 3 gears. Unscrewed the cover and cleaned with chain cleaner. Everything back to normal again!

Do anyone know if it is still possible to get a T-shirt? I registered in Centurion and were to late at the race.

Sorry I did the 75km 2007m ascent on my garmin. I was wondering about these times, mine was over 7 hours!
