  1. Physio does not work for me. Chiropractors to get my alignment sorted. Knee angle sets my seat hieght and then core work. TRX strap atomic push-ups are killers but effective. 20x 3 sets at end of gym is where I am currently. I have a pull-up bar at home and do a x fit excercise called knee ups. Start at a dead hang and bring knees to elbows. No momentum. Several hundred crunches a week on the Swiss ball is another variation. Sit on a bosu ball and move a medicine ball side to side with arms extended. I am a farmer so have all the kit at home. That plus Google and there are many ways to work your core. I find planks tedious. Not saying they are not effective. Check your seat is straight and level, observe your knees when riding, look for differences between the paths your knees are traveling.
  2. Well now. I can run a 36 chainring and keep it all shimano. Thanks Dale
  3. Confused, on the Cannondale Website it lists the scalpel 3 as having RR snakeskin tyres and 11/42. I have one on order and was swapping the cassette for a SRAM 10/42 with a 34 chainring. Please confirm which is correct as this report says it has an 11/46 as standard.
  4. Don't give up on the rollers. They are a great tool.
  5. Flash point. Paul Adam. I did enjoy it, interesting and different.
  6. 29er. It suits our conditions and events. Better resale I feel.
  7. Hello. I am a cyclist (MTB) and a farmer. I allowed a local bike race to run through my property and as a result I now have cyclists using the route during the week and mostly on weekends, it's as though once I gave permission for the race people assume my farm is now open to all. What worries me is that a tractor runs a cyclist over and his next of kin or insurance company then come looking for a way to make me pay. Would a sign saying cycle at own risk suffice? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thank you Ryan.
  8. Looked up the price 2017 team HT. £6499 in the uk. R122 655 at a direct exchange. I won't pay that.
  9. Don't know the whole situation Bud, but I trust my bike shop and have come around to trying a dual. That 2017 team edition though. Wow.
  10. I wanted the 2017 HT to replace my flash. I was told that the price CDale want for the Fsi hard tail would not be worth Omnico trying to sell them. I chose the carbon 3 as a compromise. It will be the first dual I have ever owned.
  11. He called Fumic. Few mich. I miss Bart.
  12. Ss6 was showing the mtb at 19.35 local but has just changed to show the time as 17.25. Show time.
  13. I had noticed it, but I just smile to myself as I ride a lefty. I love my lefty.
  14. Cc gallery have got an advanced fitment setup. Specialized Ballito should have an assometer as well. I am keen on getting fit on the Spez power saddle. Good luck
  15. Elite Cannibal will solve your issue. My cage of choice.
  16. 179cm. M Bear in mind the 2016 bikes have the OPI stem and it is quite costly to swop. The 2017 bikes have the more conventional stem.
  17. Start drinking 20 mins in and don't stop sipping.
  18. Has any one spent time on this bike. I am looking for some feedback from a rider who has ridden a stage for a while. I am looking to get one as my cannondale flash was stolen.
  19. Hi Guys Thanks for the feedback, I will work through the links and mull it over, You made my heart skip a beat with the link to the taxi thread but its not my bike! My first pick is the new Scalpel but I have to wait until mid September for stock. The Pyga is also an undeniably good bike. I like the old scalpels but the single bottle cage in the frame is a deal breaker for me. Thanks again
  20. Rode Karkloof on Sunday. Washed the bike and left it leaning on the wall of my house to dry. When I went back to put it away it was no longer there. I had a cannondale flash 29 hardtail. I have R70K to spend on a replacement. I ride xc and marathon events. Stage races as well. Karkloof is my most favorite place to ride. I loved the sharp handling of the flash. Loved the 90mm lefty, loved going uphill on the hardtail. I am 81kg and competitive. I am probably a B batch rider in a big event. Best result is A batch finish in the Sani race so I train hard and race hard. I think I must take this chance to move to a dual suspension bike, the new Cannondales are overpriced, yeti is also overpriced, I don't aspire to ride a giant. Specialized is also not for me. What do you think of the Pyga stage? I have an option on one with full xt 1x 11 and xt brakes. AC wide lightning wheels, Roc shocks WC SID carbon forks. Any other ideas, it also must have two bottle cages in the main frame. Thank you Ryan.
  21. Stoke, peace, hapiness, motivation, resolution.......... There is so much to find on the trail.
