  1. They say a Land Rover doesn't leak oil. It's marking its territory.
  2. Jeeshh, that looks almost identical to my bike. Nice one!!
  3. I cant decide between this race or the Silverstar MTB Challenge.....hmmmm. They are not on the same day, but I can only do one of the races. Which one would you choose......
  4. Wessel, are you guys ready for the race this weekend? Any news regarding the routes?

  12. Booked and Paid, cant wait. What is a drags up? Can someone explain this to me......Thanks!!????????
  13. Haha.. I don't like it either, but where else do I keep my bombs, tyre levers etc? Camelpack?
  14. 100% Could not agree more. I don't race much myself but its very frustrating when riders are scared of down hills, climbs and the smallest of technical bits to bugger the ride up for most other riders.
  15. It was an irritating day at the Monster for me. I started at the back of the pack and that was my fault. I should have started with the guys more to the front of the pack. The riders could not ride any of the technical bits and or climbs and climbed off their bikes without even trying or even pulling off to the side to let other riders past. VERY frustrating. Then my blood sugar dropped 30km in and I just could not get it back up again, and thus the cramps started. Lessons learned.... 1. Be at the start allot earlier, to avoid any non technical folks. 2.Carry allot more glucose sachets as spares. 3.The route was brilliant and tough, and well organized. Well done to Stillwater and all the sponsors involved!
  16. I've got the same issues, and Im starting to stress. I wish these illnesses will just bugger of so that I can train. I'll clap a Heia safari red and yellow route this weekend seeing that I've trained since the beginning of May for the 45km race. I'm so glad I'm not you guys doing the 80km. I hope you guys are fit.
  17. Sounds good. Let us know when its all ready and good to go....
  18. The Camber is mixture between the Epic and the Stumpy, but it doesn't ride like either one. Its more suited to our type of riding here in SA, an all rounder. The epic is faster as its more of a race bike, but the Camber does XC, single track, down hills and climbing so well, and its a hell of a fun bike to ride. Go for the Camber, you will not be disappointed. Go test the best.
  19. Hi Richard Have you noticed an improvement after you posted this tread and have you made any progress regarding the yearly passes with barcodes for your clients?
  20. This thread has made me jealous for some time now (you b@stards), seeing everyones new purchases and how good they all look. I hope all of you enjoy your new purchases. Finally I can add my purchase on this thread as well....:-)
  21. I took delivery of my new Specialized Camber Carbon yesterday. Im super stoked, and what a fun bike she is to ride!! Very happy
  22. Everyone speaks well of the Niner bikes, but the problem is that I cant test ride a similar bike to see if I like it or not. Does anyone have any comments regarding Niner?
  23. The barcode idea gets my vote. Its not something like a board that I have to attach to my bike thats an inconvenience for the rider.
