  1. Most bike shops run pretty basic POS (point of sale) systems that generate a basic till slip. To substantiate high value purchases its not uncommon for the bike shop to generate a 'copy' invoice on a letterhead. Not saying this is what happened...just a possible explanation

    Argus 2014

My apologies for the late reply....been a bit offline last week or so. I can relate to janneman getting a fright. My wife and myself were also on a tandem. Although we were caught a lot earlier on the Blue Route. I moved as fast as I could out of the racing line but very soon we were enveloped by the woman/VA/VB and A bunch. My GoPro was running at the time and you can see that it was a very nerve racking 2min 30s odd that it took for the whole bunch to overtake us. Needless to say a huge thank you for the tow we got to Smits once we settled in at the back of the pack!

  6. I have also noticed this during a racing season. After trial and error i have noticed this only happens to me if i am over training or need a rest... I am no expert and am not saying that this is the cause in your situation but maybe something to take into consideration. The way i see it the heart is a muscle like all others in the body and when its tired it will battle to operate at max effort.
  7. This is very sad. That stretch of road offers some of the best riding in the country....
