Just a note , I started later with a friend and his girl , it was her second race and first 52 km , (third time on a bike ) so I knew that it would be a long day , yes the first few groups ran well and its easy planning for them but where thought should have come in was for the people at the back , those who would be out the longest , I saw people in a state of dehydration and heat exhaustion because the water stations had packed up , I raced ahead to buy water and food at a pick and pay for us and shared it with other cyclist who were struggling as well , this was very dangerous and a big balls up on the organizers part , When highlighting it with them on there Facebook page they just delete comments they don't like , Bad form on there part and that is why I probably wont ride it again , they might control the Facebook page but cant silence the hub. I didn't mind the bottlenecks and yes a lot of the scaffolding bridges angles was to steep for most riders , I enjoyed them but was forced to walk some of congestion . I just think if they issued a statement of some of the problems rather than closing the comments on there page and deleting others they would have handled it better and kept some respect

There is an old pump track that we are going to rebuild , we are having a community day this Saturday to take back the park , starts at 8 if anybody wants to help , The idea is to get a place where kids can go to have fun and be safe. Its in Fontainblue behind the little traffic training centre

If you have bring a shovel , plastic bag. I will also take my panga to cut down the reeds where the guys are sitting and hiding stuff

There is a take back the park event this weekend on Saturday morning at the bike track at 8 am if anybody wants to take part

I'm planning a long ride on Saturday morning down the spriut , about 60 km + at med pace if anyone is keen to join

Its a good idea to start a group , I ride spriut most of the time , start at my house travel over northcliff hill and enter at alberts farm, go as far down as I can for time and back up ,
