Ok so a few of us are doing a MTB ride @ Groenkloof on Sunday 3 Jan, if you keen to join say so and I'll put your name on da list... Afterwards we're gona make some boeries and chillax... Date: 3 Jan 2010 Time: 7:30 to ride at 8h... Distances: Anything from 18km to 40/60km... 36" wheel with 150mm cranks connected to the hub, to think a mtb is 175mm cranks and then obviously you have gears....

Its kinda crazy.... I did 95km and trained 2months for that, 1700km now that is a different story.... 1 gear no freewheel... 1 head no brain

JA easy, the speed that you get cruising down there will carry you over, only thing is at the end of the first hole there is a small bump/kicker so you'd have to clear that as well, else its gona through you over, and for that sir you'll get 1st prize, lol...

Cant be worse than what my one friend did. The downhill between onion hill and that scweet winding single track there is two massive holes with beams for the 4x4 to drive over, well we went cruising down there and he thought he's gona overtake me on the right hand side, ummm guess what boet...big hole... so @ like 50km/h he swerved over the two thin beams and nearly landed in the gutter.....now that was funny.....

B&B afterwards... 8h sounds like a good time... Ill bring some fire making stuff...

Doing ok, started "power" training last week and then I realized how far behind the knee is but doing hardcore rehab so hopefully within the next month or two she will be up and running... You keen for a groenkloof ride somewhere this week???

The whole of last week Groenies (well more fountains side) was a mess!!! Went there early today, met a guy that had not been around the track yet so we rode together around groenies and chatted a lekker duk stuk. The weather was absolutely amazing!!! I always have a lekker laugh when its peoples first time there and I take them on the single track next to R21 with big bump and then around the corner the mud hole, haha he splashed a big one there!!! After lap 1 the guy was a bit bummed but he absolutely loved it, there I realized again how much fun it is showing people new places to ride!! Then went for a lekker fast lap and back home!!! What a great morning on a lekker chilaxed day!!!!

What a lekker ride, stuggeled a bit with my knee but great to see it recovering so well!!!!, like everyone else thx Nancy for a well organized ride!!! Your fam is so cool, especially the little ones asking for ID when buying beer Thx T_NOSE for keeping me company most of the way back, we had some good chats!!! Also Agteros for the lekker laughs on our way to the summit!! It was a lekker ride would have liked to meet more peeps but theres always next time.
