  1. Not sure how the guy before him handled the frame so it is possible, but my friend built up the frame the day before and was riding on tar and just felt the frame give in.
  2. Some advice please, Ok so my one friend buys this nice Scott carbon frame (2nd hand) and after the first ride the frame snaps on the rear stay (Must have had some sort of defect there as he didnt even ride it hard). It snapped right through and obviously is on a place where it takes a lot of hammering. 1.Will this be fixable by anybody? 2.Does anybody know if he'd be able to warranty the frame, not sure how scott's warranty stuff works. Below is some pics
  3. Ill actually pay more for a hires pic than for the bike then I can frame it and if somebody tunes me my prices are to high I'll kindly forward them this...

  10. Keen to hear the answer to this. I work and live in Centurion - 5kms apart. It rained so hard near work that cars were pulling over as the visibility was too bad and the roads were flooding. Got home (closer to Groenies than work) and had no rain whatsoever. I arrived at groenies @4 and it was POURING down, thought of riding but when I got out of the car I realized how hard it actually was raining. Waited to around 16:30 and the rain stopped. So got on and did a few laps, was quite muddy but not to bad, was beautiful and the animals came out to greet me around every corner, on one downhill I actually had to brake very hard to avoid hitting a camelhorse!!! Was a great ride and on the last lap the mist made it feel as if it was a very earlier morning in the sabie mountains!!! A piece of gem aka groenies!!!!
