Did anyone else have anything 'shopped' from their boxes? Picked my box up at jolivet to find it open and that someone had deemed that my wallet and Gopro bag (accesories) looked better on them than me. I reported it to Mandy and i tell you what, I would not like to get on her bad side. I actually felt sorry for the Supergroup supervisor. Kudos to them for taking as much action as possible.

I just don't get the mentality of it. If you can bring the gel with you, you can take an empty one back??? these ****** are going to end up ruining these beautiful events for the rest of us when the farmers get the zig and stop us from riding on their land.

Can anyone advise how to challange a time? I had a horrid climb out of the Valley on day 2 of the trail, batteling Nausea and worst cramp ever. Made the first cutoff by 5 min and made up some time getting to highflats WP. came in with the sweeper (in the dark i may add) to clock a time of 09h34. I noticed this moring that We got a DNF for day 2. Now i know that it makes no diff to overall standings but I gave blood, sweat and tears to ensure i completed everystage! Will be back next year to beat my times :-) had the best time ever

I would happily pay R30 a pic. Dont get me wrong, I understand the guys are making a living here and 9/10 the photos of me are good (i am very photogenic) but doing 2 or 3 events a month with 2 or 3 photos per event (as i said, i have a pretty face) it all adds up.

This has probably been discussed before, but is it just me or are the photos from events ridiculously priced? R45 per photo, that i have to download and still print (yes, I still print photo's) is a bit steep in my view. Maybe i just have deep pockets but I cant justify paying that much. Ive never bought any of my photos due to cost but if they were cheaper i would definitely buy. and maybe other would and the photographer would make more money??? Right, that's my rant over
